• Welcome

"Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we'll ever do."
    Brené Brown

You’ve taken a meaningful first step by being here.

Life can feel overwhelming—especially when anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship struggles begin to take hold. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, adjusting to parenthood, healing from past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers the space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

I offer a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you can explore your story, your patterns, and your potential. As a psychodynamically trained, sex-positive therapist and a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), I integrate deep emotional insight with practical, inclusive support for the challenges you're facing—including those related to identity, intimacy, and self-worth. I also bring advanced training in maternal mental health, and have a passion for walking alongside individuals in all stages of the parenting journey.

My goal is to support you in feeling heard, seen, and empowered—to help you reconnect with your inner strengths and move toward a more fulfilling and grounded life.

If you're ready to take that next step, I invite you to schedule a free phone consultation. We’ll talk briefly, answer any questions you may have, and see if we’re a good fit for working together.

"There are not enough places where you can come to breathe, to just be, to experience unconditional acceptance. A relationship that makes that possible creates healing each minute, each word, each glimmer of hope, connection, and self-realization." - Angela Gunn

  • My journey

For over 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life’s most meaningful—and often most challenging—moments. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins in a safe, respectful space where people can feel seen, heard, and supported as they make sense of their experiences.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I am also a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers, and I remain committed to continued learning and professional growth.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings that have deeply shaped my therapeutic approach. These include inpatient care with adolescent girls, trauma-informed care for adults, and work in non-public school environments supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges. I’ve provided psychotherapy at a nonprofit community mental health clinic serving individuals with chronic mental illness, and have facilitated therapy groups focused on grief, psychiatric illness, and substance use recovery.
In addition to individual work, I have extensive experience providing couples therapy, helping partners improve communication, deepen connection, and navigate relational challenges. I have supported clients from diverse cultural backgrounds facing anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, grief, parenting struggles, and major life transitions. Today, I offer therapy for adults, and couples in private practice virtually and in-person in Baltimore County.

  • Therapy Services Offered

    Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy to adults who are seeking support, clarity, and healing through life’s challenges. In our work together, we will uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck and explore the root causes behind them. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a more fulfilling life and that meaningful change is possible—even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. My goal is to walk alongside you and offer hope when you may not see it for yourself—to be the light at the end of the tunnel, even when it feels like the tunnel doesn’t exist.

    Therapy for Therapists

As a therapist, you give so much of yourself to others—it’s both meaningful and demanding work. I deeply value the opportunity to work with fellow clinicians, helping them navigate the unique challenges that come with holding space for others. Whether you're managing the emotional weight of trauma work, facing burnout, or simply seeking a place to process your own thoughts and feelings, this space is for you. This work is not just about maintenance; it's about growth, restoration, and reconnection with your purpose. Investing in your well-being creates a positive ripple effect, benefiting you and those you serve.

    Couples Therapy

I also provide couples therapy for partners seeking to deepen their connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. Whether you're facing conflict, recovering from betrayal, feeling disconnected, or wanting to strengthen your relationship, couples therapy is a space where each partner can feel seen, heard, and understood.

Everyone wants to be seen, heard, and validated in their relationships, and this can often be undercut by communication patterns that were learned early in life. In our sessions, we’ll identify these patterns and work to develop new ways of relating that foster empathy, understanding, and emotional closeness. The goal is to create a relationship environment where both partners feel safe, respected, and valued.

With advanced training through the Integrative Sex and Couples Certification Training, I bring a specialized lens to the unique dynamics of intimacy, desire, and relational communication. Allow me the opportunity to help you and your partner communicate your boundaries, desires, and needs in ways that build connection and trust.

  • My Approach

As a psychodynamically trained therapist, I help you explore your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences to better understand the patterns that may be influencing your present. Together, we will identify recurring themes that may be interfering with your relationships, self-worth, or personal growth—gently working through them to foster insight, clarity, and meaningful change.

I believe therapy is most effective when grounded in trust and authenticity. I approach this work with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your unique story. My style is collaborative and reflective, inviting you to explore your inner world at your own pace. I aim to create a safe space where you feel truly seen and supported—especially when navigating complex emotions, identity, and relational dynamics.

I am a sex-positive therapist and a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP). I bring a trauma-informed, inclusive lens to conversations around sexuality, intimacy, and relationships, helping clients move through shame and into deeper connection with themselves and others. I also have advanced training in maternal mental health, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals through the transitions, challenges, and identity shifts that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.

Finding a therapist you genuinely connect with is vital to the therapeutic process. I offer a free phone consultation to help answer any questions you may have and to assess whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.
